“This Too Shall Pass” Featuring works by Rebecca Beachy , N. Masani Landfair , and Nancy Valladares.

In the series “Carry” and “6th extinction”, N. Masani Landfair looks at the persistence of ancient ways, and rituals from cultures considered rural or “third world” vs the limited advancements of the period from the Industrial to the Digital Age which have played a significant role in creating catastrophes throughout the world; depleting natural resources and accelerating global climate changes. Through collaged imagery, Landfair assembles alternate examples of our human instinct to struggle, thrive and transcend beyond obstacles of poverty and neglect that global corporations continuously create out of greed.

Both series prompt a cautionary reminder to our present generation. Who will challenge the ills begotten by large corporations and pacified by our global governments? Corporations whose excessive exploits deplete our natural resources while producing poverty and wastelands. Actions that have contributed to our current state of climate change.
